About Me.
My name is Bailey Dieckman. I am currently completing dual degrees in Applied Sociology and Criminal Justice; I also have a minor in Art & Design. In college, I was the vice president of the Texas State Sociology Club as well as a member of Alpha Kappa Delta.
I pride myself in my ability to successfully communicate with my peers, practice excellent work ethic and enhance my skills in technical writing, graphic design, and marketing. I am driven to live a creative and socially conscious life based around integrity, productivity, and altruism. I enjoy being involved with my local communities and larger social institutions and strive to consistently attend events that are geared towards activism and my social.
In my experience, I have gained a variety of skills that could be beneficial to my image as an asset to any organization and or company. As an intern for Jittoa Productions, I have learned how to prepare project proposals, writing multiple grants and creating project budgets. This experience has allowed me to develop professional relationships within the art world and learn how to financially fund a large-scale creative project. I hope to establish myself as a skilled writer and project manager and grant writer.
As an art director for the San Marcos Cinema Club I have helped curate and orchestrate multiple events surrounding visual art and film screenings. I have created designs for print and merchandise that have been well received by the local community. I have also been largely involved with planning non-profit charity events that have been successful and profitable fundraising events. I hope that the work I do with this nonprofit film society will help establish myself as a analytical thinker and accountable worker who is able to be an integral part of an organization.
